The tale of people getting duped in film business is age old and the latest we hear is about the story of a lemon businessman who is based in Chittoor. His name is Chiranjeevulu Naidu.
Apparently, he was lured with the prospect of producing a film by director Govind Varaha.
This resulted in the movie ‘Manushulatho Jagratha’. Buzz is that Govind assured Naidu that the film would be made in 1 crore budget but he ended up making it in two crores.
Now, the cine folks reveal that the film doesn’t even have the scope to retain even its gum printing cost.
As a result, Naidu is reportedly crying his heart out with his friends stating if only he stuck to his lime business he would have made some more money but due to this project the business is pushed back to another five years.
Currently, no one knows the status of the film. But this is a lesson to all the aspiring producers that beware of such directors.
