Tales of deceit, manipulation, betrayal are in plenty and this happens even in Tollywood. Currently, the filmnagar is abuzz with different incidents where directors are blackmailing producers.
In few instances, they will say a film will hardly cost a budget and everything will be done economically. And then they stop the film in between forcing the producers to pump more.
Few other directors deliberately extend the working days and keep siphoning off money from the budget.
And then there is another category where the director is setting a Honey trap on the producer, taking photos and videos and then blackmailing the producer to increasing the budget and eating money from it.
So, it is better the producers check the credentials of the directors before they start their projects.
