His latest offering was ‘Maro Charitra’ and the film has been declared a dud. Recently, Dil Raju arranged a press meet and revealed that the film must have been made at a budget of Rs 5- Rs 6 crores but it became a cost failure and it went upto Rs 9 crores.

He said with a weeping tone “the industry is angry with me and that’s why few people are trying to stamp me down”. Those who heard this say that it is not about stamping him or anything like that happening but it is about the movies that he is coming up with which has been leading to this outcome. And people say Dil Raju wouldn’t have talked this way had his Maro Charitra were a success. ‘He would have shown his arrogance then’, they add.
