Dil Raju who used to be good at guessing the fate of a movie prior to its release seems to be losing his judgment skills going by the list of films he is associated with lately. He had high hopes on his own production Krishnashtami that has proved to be a huge dud.
Dil Raju himself confessed that he didn’t believe Supreme is a success until its business remained steady for ten days.
He has associated with low budget flick Rojulu Marayi as he expected it to be a big blockbuster like Rajugari Gadilo and Prema Katha Chitram. If the sources are to be believed Dil Raju didn’t let the producers of Rojulu Marayi to sell the film as he believed that it could rake in huge bucks at the ticket window.
Rojulu Marayi makers have released the film on their own in some areas and through Dil Raju in few areas. Now they are looking at huge losses as the film turned out to be a disaster.
Dil Raju might have thought that his name and Maruthi’s brand will draw huge opening but that didn’t happen. The film failed to impress the target audience which means Dil Raju has totally got it wrong for it.
He should be kicking himself for associating with this film exactly at the time where things are looking fruitful for him with some of the crazy projects in pipeline for Sri Venkateswara Creations.
