The ritual of gifting cars has caught on in Tolllywood. But again, if one looks back, it is not new to Telugu industry. A big producer has always said that there was no heroine who did not take a car from him.

A top heroine has bought herself a swanky car. Now, she is a top heroine and gets high remuneration. So, it is no big deal either ways.
But then the gossip is that she has been gifted the car by a director who appreciates her tremendously.
Incidentally, in the past, the same director used to like a heroine and talk is that he spent nearly Rs 3 crores on her.
Now, he has bought a car for his latest muse. Well, another talk is that though directors of the earlier generation too had crushes and muses, they would not splurge on their heroines.
However, the new-age directors are different they say and maintain that they should not waste their money.
Now, times have changed. People's attitudes have changed. On the other hand, new-age girls are also smarter and they know how to get gifts without spending their hard-earned money.
