Ram Charan has been trying to get hold of USA market for long time but it seems nothing is working is in his favour.
His upcoming release “Dhruva” has also landed in some sort of trouble as the original distributor Classic Entertainments has reportedly backed out of the deal in the last minute. Now another distributor is said to have taken the movie and will be releasing it.
Recently, many movies have faced similar problems and had seen the change of distributors in the last minute. Recent example was “Baahubali The Conclusion”.
It is not yet clear who the new distributor that is releasing Ram Charan’s “Dhruva” and why Classic Entertainments has backed off from it. More details should be coming shortly.
Although Ram Charan delivered some of the biggest hits in Tollywood’s history like “Magadheera”, he is not considered hot star in USA market.
He tried to capture the USA market with his last release “Bruce Lee The Fighter” as he released in record number of screens but the movie bombed like anything. It did cross just half million dollars. His immediate goal is to have one movie that gets more than one million dollars.
At a time when small heroes like Vijay Devarakonda are joining the club of one million dollars, it has become a prestige issue for Charan to have at least one movie that joins this club.
Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, NTR and Nithin have already joined two-million dollar movies club.
