Dasari Wants Awards Not Rewards???

Not many people even knew that a film called ‘Mestri’ was released but Dasari won a Nandi Award for that in the year 2009 for that. Now, he seems to have catered the golden Nandi for Best Actor for the year 2010 to Nandamuri Balakrishna. Well, Dasari has already declared that Balayya’s remarkable performance in the film ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ will ensure that Nandi will come walking to Balayya’s residence.
 
Not only that, with a thought to see that the award comes into the 2010 year time frame, the Darsakaratna made sure that the film which releases on January 12th, 2011 goes through the censor work two weeks prior to its arrival. Usually, Big heroes tend to get scared to get their films to the censor board even two days before the film’s release. But since the Nandi awards of 2011 will be announced in 2012, Dasari got the censor work done on December 27th, 28th so that ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ is in contention for the Nandi Awards list of 2010.
 
Till now, the Nandi awards event for the year 2009 has not happened. Recently, everything was arranged but the sudden strike in the Tollywood circuit led to the postponement of the event. So now, the Nandi awards for the years 2009-2010 will happen during this year end. This means that while Dasari will receive the best actor award for 2009 Balakrishna will be receiving the best actor award for 2010 on the same stage. 
 
Looking at all this, it appears that the focus of Dasari is more on awards than the rewards and this must be surely disturbing for C Kalyan, the producer of ‘Parama Veera Chakra’.
