Dasari Narayanarao is not a director now. He is a producer in disguise. As he is the member of Union Cabinet, he not cognizably devotes his time to film making, as he did in the past. His political post, however, could not kill his passion for films. So he is investing in others films. Every one knows it was he, who financed the film ‘Adavallaku Adivaram Selavu’.
He is putting his money in the films directed by his disciples. He is believed to have invested in all the recent ventures of EVV Satyanarayana. Dasari wants to do more. He is trying to seek the permission of Sonia Gandhi through Manmohan Singh to direct films. He wants to cite the example NTR, who acted in films, when he was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to defend his case.
