Veteran film maker Dasari Narayana Rao has not only bagged reputation as one of the spearheads of Tollywood but also for his sensational comments. Earlier, in few instances he indirectly took a dig at Chiranjeevi and his political aspirations and was in the news. Now, with his image in the industry fading out, the director has made some strange comments which rubbed friction between two regions.
A couple of days ago, during the promotional event of a film, Dasari said that film industry is centered aroung big heroes and their families. And urged people fromTelangana region especially from Warangal, Karimnagar districts to take on the big heroes. Well, if a person has acting potential, region won't be a barrier and it's just only the talent that should fetch him oppurtunities. We should not attribute regional bias for celebrities as they get to entertain the audience across the country and film indsutry is not the place to have quota for heroes coming from several districts.
Though, heroes like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Prabhas, etc have their roots in Andhra, they have huge market here in Telangana (Nizam). It's better if Dasari double checks the facts before talking anything and unnecessarily creating regional havoc in the industry.
