Mega Power Star Ram Charan is all set to start his new film 'My Name is Raju' (Tentative title). Srinu Vaitla is directing this action and comedy entertainer and the shooting part will begin very soon.
We have already reported that Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for Ram Charan’s movie and this is the debut for the ‘Kolaveri Di’ composer.
Sources close to the unit have informed us that the makers are paying 2.5 cr remuneration for Anirudh. This is the same amount that Devi Sri Prasad charges per film.
Anirudh is a new composer and but he has delivered some good albums in Tamil. According to the grapevine, Shankar is thinking of replacing AR Rahman with Anirudh for his upcoming movie.
Moreover, Anirudh was able to compose terrific BGM for most of his Tamil films. So the makers of ‘My Name is Raju’ felt that he is worth for this kind of remuneration.
Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady opposite to Charan and star writers Kona Venkat & Gopi Mohan will be providing the screenplay and dialogues for the film.
