This is a rather interesting tale that took place at the famous Boats Club that turns out to be the haven for many film folks and also various other senior members from different walks of life who would prefer a quiet drink with few buddies in the late evenings by the side of Lord Buddha and the Hussain Sagar Lake.
Apparently, one of the evening guests was a senior director who is known for his films and he was having his regular share of whisky with the authentic snacks along with his closely knit friends when a coconut landed from above just few inches away from where all of them sat. For a moment, the thud caused panic that it was probably a bomb that fell but it turned out to be a coconut.
Given the current situations that our folks have been subjected to with the bomb blasts and terror attacks, even a coconut is sounding like a hand grenade and the senior director was busy thanking his lucky stars for having got away with it in a rather close shave.
