Chiru's Strategy Went Terribly Wrong

Megastar Chiranjeevi preferred to do commercial films only to gratify mega fans. Albeit he was interested to do different films, he didn’t dare to go against fans wish.

Now, all the burden on him has been reduced with young heroes from mega compound are slowly making their own mark. Thus, Chiru decided to pick scripts of his choice.

Making biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was a dream for Chiranjeevi who employed Paruchuri Brothers to pen story for a long time.

The writer duo in association with few other writers completed script work and the film is currently in production stages.

During pre-production stages, Chiru desired to project the film titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy as a Pan Indian one.

Directed by Surender Reddy, the film which will equally appeal to people of all languages since it is a patriotic one is made as bilingual in Telugu, Hindi and later it will be dubbed in other languages.

In fact, content alone was not enough for a film to pull of crowd from other regions. Thus, they roped in known faces from different languages such as Amitabh Bachchan from Hindi, Vijay Sethupathy from Tamil and Sudeep from Kannada.

Then to grab attention of national media, Sye Raa makers insisted Big B to post working stills of the film. Amitabh’s as well as Chiru and actress Nayanthara’s look were unveiled.

Unexpectedly, Sye Raa botched to generate any buzz in North, despite Amitabh Bachchan promoted the film in social networking sites.

Movie analysts felt that, Sye Raa makers should have canned scenes involving Big B in last schedule and should have leaked or released the posters just few days before release of the film when buzz will be high in Telugu and other south languages.
