Chiru's 'Opportunist Attitude' In Discussion
Chiranjeevi may well be the ex-emperor of Tollywood throne but ever since he moved out of his reel life and came to real life, a more truthful picture of him is getting revealed. The common opinion of those who know him is that Chiru is a person with rather opportunistic attitude.

To quote an instance, singer S P Balasubramaniam was once sharing his thoughts when he revealed how Chiru used to address him as ‘Anna’ ‘Balu’ but lately, the singer is being addressed as ‘Balu Garu’. Incidentally, this change from Chiru had hurt Balu a lot, say sources. It is also heard that the same approach was shown towards comedian Sudhakar who was Chiru’s roommate during the early days of their career.

As such, cine sources say Chiru, in his entire career, gave lift only to talented people like Lawrence and lyricist Ananta Sriram. However, there were motives in that. Lawrence was encouraged since he gave very good moves which worked well for Chiru’s career when he was in doldrums with successive flops at a moment. As for Sriram, it was the obligation with Harirama Jogayya. They add that before entering politics, Sudhakar was called as ‘arey… orey’ but now he is being kept at a distance. Well, the perception is that if Chiru gets them close, he had a feeling he will be used.

So, he decided to create some ‘Mohamaatam’ and hence distance was maintained. However, many say that this opportunistic attitude will make Chiru an isolated man.
