She was once considered to be the ‘entertainment maharani’ of TV. Unlike many anchors who bore the audience with their cheap gimmicks and equally bad jokes, Udaya Bhanu made her mark with her style of anchoring.
But the makers of her latest show are worried that they made a huge mistake by casting her. No, she is not doing a game show.
In fact, she has been chosen to handle a rather serious show that requires her to go to remote places, meet people and discuss their day-to-day problems.
However, her years of experience as the anchor of entertainment shows has now become an impediment for Udaya Bhanu who is unable to pull off the ‘serious’ act.
Apparently, her quirkiness that works for her game shows is killing her latest show and the producers are totally disappointed. Many feel Jhansi would have been the perfect choice for such programmes.
Well, shouldn’t the makers have been more careful in their choice instead of crying foul now?
