If the buzz from the film circles is to be believed Balakrishna is intrigued by the storyline narrated by Krishna Vamsi.
The plot is about a farmer who fights against the system to change the plight of farmers. If Krishna Vamsi comes up with a full bound script that impresses Balayya, ‘Raithu’ will be the hundredth film of veteran star.
This will keep Chiranjeevi and Vinayak on their toes as they are all set to remake Kaththi, which also had similar theme.
The protagonist in Kaththi fights against the system to save the lives of farmers. Krishna Vamsi may have come up with an entirely new idea but that won’t stop media and audience from drawing comparisons between them.
Chiranjeevi has been taking his own sweet time to launch the remake of Kaththi which is only going to be launched in April. If Krishna Vamsi gets everything in place then Balakrishna’s film might go to floors earlier than Chiru’s!
Keeping Chiru and Balakrishna equations aside, it looks like our directors are falling back on village themes as Soggade Chinni Nayana proved that films with rural backdrops can still rule the box office.
