Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready for his 150th film. We all know that his son Ram Charan will be producing this film. But what we don't know is that, "Is Chiranjeevi under heavy pressure for this film?"
Baahubali released last Friday. The film is raking money like anything. The film has been proclaimed as a cult film. This surely has become a headache for Chiru. If a Prabhas film can reach such zenith, then Chiranjeevi’s film has to be much more magnanimous.
Says who? Industry has slowly started discussing what will Chiru’s 150th film be like.
Director Ram Gopal Varma has already dropped sarcastic hints.
He tweeted, (sic) “The only film which can be next Bahubali is Mega star's 150 th..Mega's fans wil b disappointed if the makers don't make it in that scale. Mega star's 150 th has to be biggest ever nd makers shud not make mistake of making it lesser than Bahubali or it can b Mega disappointment. Mega star's 150th cannot be the 2nd biggest also ...it has to be bigger than the biggest of biggest which is Bahubali. Bahubali proved that if film is fantastic it can recover beyond limits..and who can be bigger than Mega who's the star of star's.”
As of now Chiranjeevi is unable to freeze on a story for this film. Earlier Puri Jagan was selected as the director, but Chiru was unhappy with the story, while Ram Charan was happy.
No concrete decision about Puri being the director the film came from either father or the son. While the former is weighing other options, the latter is waiting for the complete script.
RGV has kind of challenged the megacamp to deliver something massive than Baahubali. Surely Chiranjeevi and others involved with the 150th film will move mountains. Or should they be worried, as Chiranjeevi is big. What can possibly be bigger than him?
Well we don’t know. For now we will have to wait and watch what the megacamp’s next move will be.
