Dasari Narayana Rao played the role of an elderly man in Tollywood. People still remember him as 'Peddayana'.
Whether a normal person or a big celebrity, his doors used to be open to all. Anybody can share his/her grievance. There was a chance to hold a discussion with both the parties involved in the issue. At least the concerned person used to get some solace.
Whether he would get justice or not is a different issue, at least there used to be some attempt in doing justice to the person who approached him.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is trying to get into the shoes of Dasari for some time. In fact, he is Megastar. His domination in Tollywood is unquestionable. His mega camp is powerful. He has all these things but he is unable to claim his position.
He tried to do it during corona time. But he has gone silent when seniors like Balakrishna pointed out Megastar's mistakes. There is a criticism in the industry circles that Chiranjeevi said 'We all will go to Jagan' but changed his word at the last minute and went to meet Jagan with a few. People may not say this publicly but many celebs have shared the same thing to the journalists.
If we keep this aside, a controversy raised on his movie. An assistant director named Rajesh lamented about his problem in front of the media directly.
He publicly said that "Had Dasari been alive now, I would have received justice. People like me don't get an entry to people like Megastar easily".
What Megastar should do in such a situation? He should call the assistant director immediately and talk to him to know what happened and what exactly his story is. Then he will know his version.
if he clarifies him that "This is not your story. Believe me" after listening to his grievance patiently, he will not talk about it. When a person like Megastar assures him he will not speak about it again, right?
The movie is presented by his own banner. He and his son are acting in the movie. If the allegations are raised on the movie, it would be right on part of him to respond to the allegations. Or else he can meet the aspirant director as a elderly man and listen to his grievances.
If he talks to him patiently, it will increase his image but never decrease it. If he wants to replace Dasari, he should open the doors also to common people like him.
Chiru responded to a small actor who danced to his song in America. Doesn't he respond to the grievance of a small technician? If this is the case, how can he be Dasari of this generation?
