Charan Eyeing Overseas Market

Charan Eyeing Overseas Market

It is a given that Charan is in the top league in the local market. He could withstand competition from a multi-starrer and Mahesh.

However, all his three hits, Yevadu, Nayak and Rachcha, could not make big money in the overseas market. Incidentally, routine mass entertainers don’t have much market there.

Though Nayak had its share of comedy, it could not take on the family entertainer Seetammma Vakitlo… The film could not make Rs 3 crore in gross there. On the other hand, despite the flop talk, Mahesh’s One-Nenokkadine made 1 million dollars.

Ram Charan’s film could not make even one-fourth the money. If Charan manages to make Rs 5 crore or more in the overseas market, then he will become the reigning star.

So, now all his focus is on overseas market. He intends to capture the market with the family drama that he is doing with Krishna Vamsi. Since family films are well-received there, Charan hopes it will attract audiences there.

From now on, he hopes to work with a few more class directors to make his standing stronger abroad.
