Only after he gives his nod, can they approach Charan. On the other hand, if Charan likes a story and Chiranjeevi doesn’t, it is chucked into trash bin immediately.
But if Chiru likes a script and Charan is unconvinced, it still makes it to the sets.

Naturally, this has turned Charan into a dummy. While some in tinsel ville feel this is about a dad being concerned about his son’s career, others say Chiru’s over indulgence will adversely impact Charan’s decision-making capacity.
