Naga Chaithanya's 'Majnu' is currently completing a schedule in Goa. An earlier schedule had taken place at a private college in Vizag.
The Principal of the college had willingly acquiesced to the use of his premises for the movie’s shoot. But when he requested Naga Chaithanya’s assistant, Venu that his students were keen on getting photographed with Chaithanya, Venu apparently said that it would cost the Principal Rs 10 lakh for Chaitu’s photo-session.
The Principal got to meet Naga Chaithanya when the latter reported for shooting and mentioned this incident to him. Chaithu was shocked and he fired his assistant on the spot.
And at Annapurna Studios, learning about this, the staff there apparently celebrated Venu’s dismissal by bursting firecrackers. That’s how unpopular he was!
