Balakrishna’s hundredth film Gautami Putra Satakarni theatrical trailer has been creating waves on the internet ever since it was launched.
Besides winning accolades from all corners, the trailer has also broke YouTube records for a Telugu film by becoming the fastest Tollywood trailer to clock 4 million views on the video-sharing website.
One thing that is striking about GPS trailer is its splendid visual effects that have raised the expectations on the epic historical drama.
Even stalwarts from the film industry were amazed to see such high quality visuals in the trailer as director Krish managed to get that output in very short time. Films like these usually take several months to complete as it is not an easy task to get the VFX right.
However, Krish completed the shoot of Gautami Putra Satakarni in four months and also got the VFX work done within no time. While other films are taking so much time for graphics, how could Krish pull it off in a few months?
According to the strong buzz from film circles, Krish has used a few shots of the war scenes from Bollywood epic drama Bajirao Mastani. Krish has had a prior agreement with Bajirao’s director and producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali it seems.
Krish has reportedly used few portions from Bajirao Mastani in the war sequences of GPS. Perhaps that is the reason why Krish was able to get such an amazing quality output in short span of time.
It is interesting to note Bhansali was the producer for Gabbar is Back that had marked the debut of Krish in Bollywood.
