Speculations and bloated figures seem to have become the latest fashion among the Tollywood folks. Ironically, there are many who tend to fall for these talks and end up losing money. Anyways, here is something interesting that came from a distributor regarding the outcome of the film ‘Businessman’.
The distributor who is known to many was heard saying that even if the film flops, it will earn Rs 90 crores. This is bringing out laughter among many. They say “Even the big Bollywood film ‘Don 2’ released in 2600 theatres worldwide and finally it managed to collect Rs 108 crores gross.”
They add “How is that Rs 90 crore figure possible for Businessman?? It is releasing in 1000 plus theatres though it is being hyped as 1600 theatres. So, even if it is releasing in lets say 1200 theatres, it cannot reach that figure. This is some nice comedy from this distributor who knows so much about film business.”
