On one hand, there is Junior NTR and on the other side there is Nandamuri Kalyanram. While Kalyan can be considered as a rather direct family member, there is a slight twist in Junior’s equation. But then, the Nandamuri pride is being taken to a new height by Junior and he also gives the due respect by speaking about his ‘Babai’ wherever possible.
Sources close to the family reveal that Balayya has got a soft corner for both of the youngsters. It is heard that he watched ‘Brindaavanam’ with great interest and was also monitoring the progress of the film. Now, he is showing the same intensity towards ‘Kaththi’ as well which is encouraging.
But on the other hand, the situation is something different when comes to other family members in Nandamuri family. Since the problems are not resolved between Hari Krishna and Jr NTR’s mother, the family support hasn’t been that good for Jr NTR’s ‘Brindavanam’ as it’s there for Kalyan Ram’s ‘Kaththi’. Still, apart from Balayya, the Nandamuri family support is being given only for Kalyan Ram and not Jr NTR. Hence the Brindavanam Platinum Disc function has seen no family member from Nandamuri family. But for film events related to Kalyan Ram would see full family strength.
