Though Brahmanandam has remained unbeatable as a comedian, he has failed to make his son Goutham shine on the silver screen even as an actor, leave alone as a hero.
Goutham has acted in two films so far, but he has not able to make mark as hero. The third film has stopped midway of shooting for reasons known only to the producer and director.
With the kind of riches and reputation Brahmanandam has earned in the film industry, he can easily afford to make a film by roping in a star director so as to give his son’s career a successful take off.
But, Brahmanandam does not want to take that risk. He always expects someone to invest on his son. So, Gowtham’s fate has been left to small time producers and directors. Some producers with their limited financial resources are making futile attempts to make films with Goutham in the lead role, expecting that his father would come to their rescue if their films fail to make money. But Brahmanandam is least bothered, as he thinks they have to give his son a break at their own risk.
