With Gautamiputra Satkarni gearing up for release against Khaidi No 786, the battle for theaters has already begun.
Apparently, Balakrishna is going all out to get as many theaters as possible for his movie and in the process has made a lucrative offer to exhibitors, according to industry sources. Balayya is believed to be telling the exhibitors that they would get tax-exemption for screening his movie in Andhra Pradesh.
How can he guarantee tax-exemption for his movie? He can because his daughter is married to the CM’s son. And he is also trying to get tax exemption in Telangana also.
But ultimately, exhibitors would want to screen films which give them good openings and people would not come watch a movie because it has got tax-exemption. So, will this offer of Balayya give him an edge over Chiru’s film?
