Balakrishna's upcoming film with Boyapati Srinu is yet to resume its shoot post lockdown. One of the female leads is yet to be finalized and so is the antagonist.
Boyapati Srinu wants to have a popular actor as the main antagonist, but he couldn’t due to budget constraints. Also, Balakrishna is not keen on joining the sets.
The film’s estimated budget is Rs 70 Cr and the current delays will only increase it because of the high interest rates on the film finances.
The makers are clueless about how much to spend on a Balakrishna’s film to be in the safe zone. Boyapati Srinu believes that their combination is worth Rs 100 Cr as of now.
Choosing the release date has become another headache for the film as there will be many big films scheduled for release in the second half of 2021. It will be difficult to get a solo release date during festival time.
Only one schedule has been done so far and it may take another five to six months to finish the filming and post production.
