None of Balakrishna’s films in the recent times released amidst high expectations due to the humiliating flop streak that the actor suffered. Even his biggest hit Simha was released with nil hype and turned out to be the gold mine for its buyers. Parama Veera Chakra despite releasing after huge hit like Simha, failed to grab the attention of Nandamuri fans even.
That is not the case with Sri Ramarajyam as it is riding on high expectations from all the corners. Mythological films have become a rarity these days and when a legend like Bapu’s name is attached to it, the expectations will only go further high. Sri Ramarajyam is sold for good prices in most of the regions and everyone who invested money in it is expecting handsome profits.
Sri Ramarajyam success is crucial for Balakrishna as he is planning to do many more films in this genre. If the buzz is to be believed, Balakrishna is in plans to do a high budget mythological movie as his hundredth film. He wants to re-launch his dream project Nartanasala, which was scrapped long back. But that will depend upon how the audiences respond to Sri Ramarajyam.
