It is more or less a trend that the moment a film becomes a hit in one language it is either dubbed or remade. This happens a lot in the south and usually Tollywood becomes the hub for such stuff. And now it is heard that one film is on its way to get remade and that too at a fat price.
We are talking about the movie ‘Baadshah’ and this Junior NTR starrer has reportedly caught the attention of Tamil superstar Vijay. It is heard that he is showing interest in doing the remake of this movie and sources say negotiations are already underway. Some of the biggest hits in Vijay’s career have been remakes from Tollywood.
There is also news that if the talks go through then ‘Baadshah’ remake rights would be getting sold for a whopping Rs 3 crores. If this happens then it would set a new record. For now ‘Baadshah’ seems to be in the eyes of the Bollywood folks as well so it may not be long before we hear something about a Hindi version too.
