Trivikram Srinivas has given the green signal to a script from Avasarala Srinivas and the movie will be produced by Sithara productions.
Sithara Produtions, say industry sources, will produce scripts approved by Trivikram who naturally will have some sort of stake in the projects albeit unofficially.
Sources say that there is every likelihood of Venkatesh playing the lead role in this movie. Avasarla’s choice of subjects might suit Venkatesh at at this point in time.
This would be a huge quantum leap for Avasarala as a director and put him closer to the A-list. He has directed two films to date, Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade and Jo Achhyutananda featuring Naga Shourya and Nara Rohit.
But Venkatesh is a different league altogether and this could be the real break that Srinivas is waiting for. Let’s hope for his sake that the project takes off.
