Time and again, it has been revealed that the film industry is caught in the vicious grip of caste feeling and in a way that seems to have resulted in ‘Shakti’. Unfortunately, the focus is so much on caste influence that important elements like content and proper director for a film gets ignored and people pay the price.
According to sources, few Kamma community heads gave a proper head massage to Aswini Dutt. They said “Ramcharan has become number 1 with his movie and also as the hero with highest budget and highest returns. That too, it was produced by Allu Aravind. In this field, it is our community which is strong and we should prove ourselves.”
They trapped him by prompting “You are the only one who is capable. Even Ramanaidu is not that gutsy to take big risks. It was you who lifted the other community, can’t you do it for our own people?”.
Like this, a series of meetings and head massages continued and this led to Aswini Dutt going ahead with ‘Shakti’ and that too with such an exorbitant budget, as per sources. The result is bitter.
Yet again, this has proved how caste feeling is ruling the industry and keeping even the big people in grip.
