Well, with times, people change too. There was a time, when fans would be fanatic and expect the stars to live by their expectations.
In fact, their love would go to an extent where they would even make suggestions to their stars. But with time that seems to be changing and that is evident from the way fans are welcoming Niharika into films.
In the past, whenever a star actor would want to introduce his daughter into films, the fans would simply go berserk and do everything possible to stop them.
So was the case with Krishna's daughter Manjula. SV Krishna Reddy was supposed to cast her opposite Balayya and he had everything worked and superstar Krishna too gave his nod.
Then the fans got furious and made sure that Manjula did not enter films. However, Manjula did act in one film later as the leading lady, though not in the conventional sense.
Now, Niharika is making her debut and the movie is also set. So slowly, like in Bollywood, actresses are making their debut as heroines in south industry too as is the case with Shruti Haasan and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar to name a couple of them.
