Unlike male heroes who run around trees into their late 50s and even early 60s, heroines have a lesser shelf life and they have to make a difficult decision once they reach the fag end of their career.
Anushka who has been at the top in Telugu and Tamil industries for almost a decade is slowly inching towards a stage where her directors will either offer her author-backed roles or make her play mature characters.
For now, she has just had a huge success in Baahubali. Then, she has Rudramadevi lined up for release and another different film Size Zero in the making.
Also, she will start shooting for Baahubali 2 in October and that will have her playing a key role in the film.
But journalists have been after her to figure out when she will get married and though Anushka has denied these rumours, they continue to do rounds from time to time.
Given that the audiences are accepting new, experimental films these days, Anushka seems to be eyeing such films in Telugu and Tamil. For now, she is firm that she has no plans of getting married till she meets the right man.
As for constant media questions, Anushka being a yoga teacher is neither denying or accepting that it is time for her to get married. "It will happen when the time comes," she laughs off both on and off camera.
