Though never spoken in the open, it must be said that Tollywood has got its own share of hero rivalries and star wars. The one that many talk about is between Mahesh Babu and the mega camp. True to that, here is a piece of news making rounds among cine folks and others.
Buzz is that producer Allu Aravind has fixed his mind to release ‘Yevadu’ film on January 11th 2014 at any cost. It would mean the film clashes with Mahesh’s ‘1-Nenokkadine’ which is locked for a release on January 10th, 2014. Buzz is that there are few dirty politics being played by Aravind with this decision.
Firstly, if the film releases in solo then Aravind knows it cannot create much impact. Only when it is released as competition then fans will get triggered and come up with many activities like benefit shows, creating extra hype etc which is much needed for the movie.
Secondly, Aravind is reportedly having a fear as to where Mahesh will score new records and that’s why ‘Yevadu’ should come so as to capture a good percentage of theatres. But there is also a twist. Sources say ‘Yevadu’ distributor of US is saying if ‘Yevadu’ is released along with ‘Nenokkadine’ then they are going to withdraw the whole proposal.
The reason being, Charan is nothing in front of Mahesh’s following overseas and he would be washed out big time in front of Mahesh. Buzz is that this is why distributor has given his decision of withdrawing.
Also, Dil Raju and director Vamshi are also in lot of tension and they are agreeing with Allu Aravind, say sources. Let us see how things take shape then.
