Tollywood hero Nandamuri Balakrishna's image was quite different until Akhada arrived. The film bagged huge success and he's surrounded with new craze. The effect is seen on Mythri Movie Makers as well.
Initially for the movie 'Veera Simha Reddy' with Balayya, a remuneration of Rs 8 Cr was fixed but as Akhanda became a huge hit in between, Balayya revised the remuneration to Rs 12 Cr as per sources.
Interestingly Balakrishna agreed for Rs 12 Cr earlier for a film with Anil Ravipudi. Now even that is going to be revised. These revised amount will be decided after release of 'Veera Simha Reddy'.
On a whole, out of the four senior heroes only Balakrishna has better traction, line up and market value. But he is not demanding Rs 40 Cr and Rs 50 Cr.
Nag and Venkatesh are still in their Rs 8 Cr range. Only megastar is in the Rs 40 Cr- Rs 50 Cr range at present.
