If there is one director who is considered no less than a demigod in Tollywood it is S S Rajamouli. This tough taskmaster has created a trend like that in the industry. But then it appears that some actors felt Rajamouli is insulting them. The following is the news coming from Rajamouli’s camp.
It is heard that nearly fifteen thousand applications came for Rajamouli’s new film ‘Bahubali’ when he gave a casting call. After going through the shortlisting and ultra-filtering process, a total of 50 people were reportedly selected. But it is heard that no one came as they all felt they deserve to get good roles.
But they were being given all sidekick and hardly negligible roles. The aspirants reportedly said “We have so much talent, we can’t do such roles.” Well, there are many like this who live in a crazy illusion. They think that they will be given chance next to a big hero. But there is something these aspirants should realize.
For selling a film richness comes only when it is with known faces. But these aspirants will not think about business logistics and live in their own world. Not making use of a good chance, they think too much of themselves. They should look at the careers of even Prakash Raj, M S Narayana who started with miniscule roles. The face should become familiar to audience and talent also should come out only then they get big roles. But if the aspirants do like this even star hunt organizers will also be frustrated.
