Had 'Sye Raa' been made considering the stamina of the Telugu market, it would have become a profitable venture. Producer Charan faltered in trying to repeat the magic of 'Bahubali'. The result is two-fold.
Charan incurred losses, Chiru left with zero remuneration. Learning from the experience, they are following a cautious approach now.
One of the major reasons that were attributed to 'Sye Raa' losses is nothing but reliable persons in the mega-production team. Learning a lesson from it, they have handed over the production responsibility to Koratala this time.
Based on Chiru's suggestion, Koratala has roped in Charan for the cameo. Though Mahesh is ready to be part of 'Acharya', the makers are going ahead with Charan. This is because of Mahesh's high remuneration.
On the other hand, the makers are quoting ridiculously high prices on par with 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' collections. Unless Chiru's film becomes a huge blockbuster the recovery is a gigantic task.
Despite knowing that fact they are quoting the high prices to cover up 'Sye Raa' losses by cashing on the craze.
