Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’ became a loss project for all the distributors.
Most of the distributors lost close to 50% of their investment and many went into depression because of this loss. This is not the first time that distributors have lost huge amounts.
Not Only Aagadu, films like Sikander and Rabhasa bought heavy losses for the distributors and now they have conveyed their decision to Bandla Ganesh stating that they are ready to take only up to 20 percent losses on Govindudu Andarivadele. If they lose more than that, producer should compensate them for the remaining amount.
Allu Aravind has entered into the scene and started to settle this issue but the distributors and exhibitors are firm on their decision.
Even Dil Raju is ready to distribute Govindudu Andarivadele under the same conditions.
Govindudu Andarivadele is scheduled to hit the theaters on October 1, 2014 in record number of theaters.
