Pawan Kalyan's movie to be produced by Dasari Narayana Rao is scheduled to go on floors in October.
Dasari has shortlisted three scripts and will go with the one which appeals to Pawan. On the other hand, Pawan has left the choice of director to Dasari.
Sources say that Dasari is planning to go with a debutant and is considering a few names that he has been recommended. He is calling those people to his office and interviewing them.
Pawan Kalyan actually worked with a lot of new directors who made him a star. It works for him because they cannot object to his involvement in the project.
But now, a movie with Pawan can easily cost around Rs 50 crore to make. So, the new director better be good. Dasari had earlier said that it was not wise to rule him out of the race either for if the right script comes along, he might direct Pawan himself. This is not a wise thing to do.
If Dasari directs Pawan, the latter might lose his entire fan following and ‘Jana Sena’ will suffer. In recent times, Dasari has directed films ‘Mesthri’, ‘Young India’, ‘Param Veera Chakra’ and ‘Erra Bus’.
People who dared to watch those films will now hope that Dasari gets implicated in the ‘coal scam ‘case, for that is the only way he can be kept off direction.
