Venkatesh's "Babu Bangaram" opened to on a strong note with $180k on Thursday premieres but poor ratings and bad content have affected the movie badly on Friday.
Over the weekend, the movie didn't add much amount to its tally and ended up with 404k dollars by end of weekend's run at USA ticket window.
Maruthi's last outing "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy" set USA box-office on fired but with "Babu Bangaram" he failed to recreate the same magic. The local exhibitors would end up losing heavily.
Last weekend's other release "Thikka" featuring Sai Dharam Tej as hero has turned out to be a huge disaster. Completely no starter at the ticket window.
On the other hand, "Pellichoopulu" continued its successful streak even in its third weekend run. The film has added another $125k over the weekend despite competition. Its total figure now stands at $943k, reaching closer to one million dollars mark.
Chandrasekhar Yeleti's "Manamantha" and Allu Srish starrer "Srirastu Subhamastu" have failed to bring the audiences to the screens despite encouraging reviews. Both are declared flop in USA.
