"Baahubali 2" has created history at North American box office. This is the first Indian film to have grossed twenty million dollars.
On Sunday (May 21), "Baahubali 2" has crossed the 20 million dollars mark, setting new benchmark for Indian movies.
Rajamouli directed epic drama was released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages in North America in record number of screens.
The distributors and sub-buyers are in huge profits. The success of "Baahubali 2" in North America stunned Hollywood trade pundits too. The movie is expected to have good run for another two weeks.
On the other hand, the last weekend's release 'Keshava' took in 200k dollars in three days. This is pretty decent opening for a Nikhil starrer considering the movie's genre - revenge drama.
