Pawan Kalyan’s “Vakeel Saab” had collected big money in the Telugu states in its first weekend. But the film’s collections outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are low.
The film has not done strong business in Karnataka either due to the surge in COVID-19 cases.
Although the USA market has recently bounced back, the NRI’s are shown reluctance to watch this film.
The film posted impressive premiere numbers but the Saturday and Sunday collections were not up to expectations.

It will be a tough task for the film to reach $1 million marks.
Being the remake of a Bollywood hit and lack of entertainment (Jathi Ratnalu was a roaring hit due to its comedy in the USA) are some of the reasons for its underperformance.
However, “Vakeel Saab” remains the highest grosser among Indian movies in its first weekend in the USA this year.
“Vakeel Saab” first weekend collections are higher than “Jathi Ratnalu”.
