The last weekend releases "Devil" and "Bubblegum" were unable to hinder the box office prospects of "Salaar".
The movie starring Prabhas made an additional sum of approximately $700k over the past weekend, contributing to its overall earnings.
"Salaar" has currently earned $8.2 million and is striving to achieve a total of $9 million by the end of its theatrical run.
The film became the fourth highest grosser among Indian movies in North America in 2023, following "Pathaan", "Jawaan", "Animal", and "Rocky Aur Rani".
Kalyan Ram's previous film "Amigos" was a flop at the USA box office. "Devil", too, failed to generate a decent amount during its first weekend. It is a flop.
The film "Bubblegum," featuring debutant Roshan Kanakala, also experienced a failure at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki" is having a good run at the USA box office and collected more than "Salaar" did during the last weekend.
