Last weekend, three films released but many thought that “Vijetha”, debut movie of megastar Chiranjeevi’s second son-in-law, would take flying start at ticket window.
Surprising trade pundits, the film didn’t even bring in mega fans to the theaters. It is a non-starter from day one.
Even Allu Arjun’s promotion for the movie has not helped it on Sunday. The film is heading towards disaster. A bad start for mega alludu. In USA, the film grossed mere $30k in its first weekend.
On the other hand, “RX 100” took in massive openings and it continued to hold its supremacy at box-office throughout the weekend. The film has already grossed more than Rs 10 Cr and and Rs 5.18 Cr share from Telugu states.
At USA, “RX 100” collected nearly 89k dollars which is decent. The USA audiences are still sceptical about this movie as it has bold content.
Fri: $43,012 Sat: $29,287 Sun: $17k Total Weekend: $89k (apprx)
Karthi’s “Chinna Babu” has failed to bring in audiences in USA. The film’s Tamil version collected $70k in its first weekend.
