“The Kashmir Files” is heading towards achieving a gross of $1 million. The small-budgeted film gained immensely from word-of-mouth.
On its first Tuesday, the film grossed a whopping $148k, the third-best Tuesday performance for any Indian movie in recent times after “Bheemla Nayak” and “Gangubai Kathiwadi”.
The film collected $148,006 from 62 locations with a per-location average grossing $2388. And the total gross stands at $742,621.
The film needs 250k dollars more to reach the $1 million mark, which can easily be achieved by this weekend.
“The Kashmir Files”, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is a smash hit all over the world. In India, the film is all set to breach Rs 100 crore nett soon.
At the USA box office, “Bheemla Nayak”, “Gangubai” and “The Kashmir Files” are the most profitable movies this year so far.
