Last week saw the release of Vunnadi Okate Zindagi. The film released amidst high expectations, though it did not live up to them.
The film looked promising on the first three days. Then there was a sudden dip and after that, the film totally took a downward dive and hasn't recovered as yet.
After giving a sentimental, sweet film with Nenu Sailaja, director Kishore Tirumala totally messed up with VOZ. He tried to infuse sentiment in some scenes, but only bores the audiences. So the camaraderie, love talk shown in promos, do not work in the film.
On the other hand, Raja The Great has managed to do decent business in areas where Dil Raju bought the film. In other areas, the film has done badly. They even indulged in a cheap trick by adding three new scenes for the sake of variety. But still the film is grappling to do business.
Another much-awaited film Rajugari Gadhi 2 had to suffice with losses.
After Mahanubhavudu, no film has made decent business and there is a lull of sorts in the industry since September.
