Nani's latest film Ninnu Kori was expected to get good opening in A centers given its classy title and emotional promos.
However, the film has surprisingly taken stunning opening across A to C centers in the Telugu States. It has also posted best ever premiere numbers for a Nani starrer in USA.
As the word of mouth is very positive, the film is expected to have a solid first weekend at the ticket windows. This should be another hit film for Nani who has been on a roll lately.
Sridevi’s Mom has been receiving mixed reports. Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham collections dropped during its second week and it is highly unlikely for the distributors to recover their investment.
All of its distributors in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will be losing somewhere between 20 to 30% of their money. It is a very big flop in overseas where the estimated loss is over 50%.
The film has broke-even only in Telangana according to the numbers issued by Dil Raju’s distribution office. Aadhi Pinisetty’s Marakathamani turned out to be a sleeper hit.
