Sreenu Vaitla's Mister started off on a surprisingly dull note in spite of the big names associated with it.
The film failed to make use of the semi holiday and has put up a weak show on its first day. Mister was expected to take a bright start at the ticket window given its star cast and brand Sreenu Vaitla.
However, the film’s collections were on the lower side right from the first show and didn’t improve much as the day progressed.
Poor word of mouth will hamper its run in the coming days. With a lot to recover makers will be expecting to cash in on the Sunday box office.
On the other hand, Lawrence’s horror comedy Shivalinga opened well across B and C centers. Mass appealing content should help the film to hold its ground through the weekend.
