'Animal' is the film that has been continuing its rampage at the box office, adding crores of collections every day.
In the worldwide collection, the film has already secured the 10th position in the list of all-time Indian film industry hits, and it is still running, even after minting Rs 737 crore in 11 days.
Turning to the domestic box office records, the film has broken the records set by 'Dangal,' '2.0,' and 'Bahubali: The Beginning,' securing the 7th position by the end of the 11th day of release.
All that it has to collect from the domestic box office is another Rs 100 crore to beat 'Gadar-2' and 'Pathaan.' We have to see when that happens to stand close to 'Jawan.'
So far, the top four Indian box office records are held by 'Bahubali-2,' 'KGF Chapter 2,' 'RRR,' and 'Jawan.' Estimates suggest that 'Animal' may surpass 'Jawan' in the full run, crossing the figure of Rs 640 crore in the domestic zone.
The noteworthy point is that the seven movies in this top 10 list are directed by South Indian directors. Out of these, two are from Telugu-Rajamouli and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, two are from Tamil-Atlee and Shankar, and one is from Kannada-Prashanth Neel.
It is needless to say that with just 3 films in the Top 10 all time highest grossing films, Bollywood bows down to South Indian film makers.
