After a gap of nearly two years, Ravi Teja released a movie but the audiences didn’t show that much enthusiasm to watch his film “Raja The Great”.
The film’s first day collections in Telugu states are not that great, they were quite ordinary. The movie received about Rs 4.5 Cr opening on day one in AP and Telangana, which is pretty average for a movie that got released in huge number of screens.
Real test for Ravi Teja and this movie will begin from tomorrow (Friday). It has to perform extraordinary at ticket window this weekend to recover its investment.
Post the weekend, holiday mood ends and it will have tough time at the box-office. So, the team of “Raja The Great” is putting high hopes on this weekend and Diwali festival mood.
Director Anil Ravipudi has rehashed his recent hit movie “Supreme” by replacing a kid angle with heroine. However, “Supreme”, which was also template commercial movie, had more entertainment than this movie.
The team of “Raja The Great” is now planning to release more comedy trailers to pull the audiences this weekend to the theaters.
Luckily for Ravi Teja, he has received full marks as hero.
