Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam is going on a rampage at the box office. The film which is expected to smash non-Baahubali records is creating ripples in neighborhood state.
Thankfully, with no straight releases in Tamil Nadu for last few weeks due to strike of Tamil Film Producers' Council to oppose the Virtual Print Fee collected by Digital Service Providers, the Sukumar directed film is running successfully there.
Rangasthalam has crossed 1 Crore mark in Chennai City alone for 8 days. It is now all time top 2 grosser and stands only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Many Tamil celebrities who watched Rangasthalam have showered tremendous praises on Ram Charan.
Unfortunately, Rangasthalam’s screening will be stopped from tomorrow in Tamil Nadu as Telugu producers announced recently to stop screening of Telugu films in the state as to lend their support to the protests of Tamil producers.
This development will have real bad effect on Rangasthalam which is having a dream run in the neighborhood state.
It may be mentioned here that, while Telugu and Kannada producers backed out, Tamil producers are continuing their protests against Digital Service Providers.
